Directed by Jason Zada (“Elf Yourself”), the video provides fans with a first glimpse of Ghost’s newly anointed ringleader Papa V Perpetua – whose ascension was foreshadowed by the recent V is Coming! campaign, which culminated in the recent Sin City conclave that saw him crowned.
The video gives fans who wish to be “Satanized” a first of its kind music video experience: The Satanizer will morph its users into characters featured in the song’s melodramatic video. With a quick upload of their photo, The Satanizer will send out a personalized music video clip featuring the participant, who can in turn share via social media that they too have been “Satanized.”
Due April 25 via Loma Vista Recordings, “Skeleta” marks the follow-up to 2022’s “Impera” and 2024's “Rite Here Rite Now”, which captures Ghost over the course of a pair of sold-out shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles that also served as the two-night finale of the group’s Re-Imperatour U.S.A. 2023.
Ghost will support the album on its biggest world tour to date, beginning with 55+ shows across the US, Europe, the UK, and Mexico next year.
The 2025 series will open with shows in the UK and Europe starting in April, followed by US dates in mid-summer and an event in Mexico City in late September; further dates will be announced as they are confirmed.
