Guns N’ Roses added to Ozzy Osbourne farewell concert

Guns N’ Roses are among the rockers added to the Ozzy Osbourne farewell concert in Birmingham, UK this summer.

“Guns N' Roses, Tool & Rival Sons added to Back To The Beginning!,” shares Ozzy on social media. “Plus Vernon Reid, Chad Smith, David Ellefson, Whitfield Crane & watt to the Tom Morello directed tribute. Event hosted by Jason Momoa.”

Billed as “Back To The Beginning”, the July 5 event at the city’s Villa Park will see Osbourne play his own short set before being joined by Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward as Black Sabbath reunite for the first time in 20 years as part of Ozzy’s final live performance.

Other artists already confirmed to perform sets are Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice In Chains, Lamb Of God, Anthrax and Mastodon.

Black Sabbath wrapped up a farewell tour in their Birmingham hometown in February of 2017, while Ozzy was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame last fall.
