Finalists for the 15th annual hennemusic Rock News Awards are chosen by readers: the Rock News Story Of The Year is determined by page views, while the Rock News Artist Of The Year is based on the combined total page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.
The 2024 hennemusic Rock News Awards winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 18.

Rock News Story Of The Year No. 3: AC/DC
AC/DC’s 1980 album classic, “Back In Black”, reached a new US sales milestone in July after The Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA) updated its files.
Featuring classic tracks like “You Shook Me All Night Long”, “Shoot To Thrill” and “Hells Bells”, “Back In Black” would reach No. 4 on the US Billboard 200 upon its original release and go on to be the best-selling hard rock album in history, with estimated worldwide sales of 50 million.
