The record’s title track will compete in two categories – Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song (a songwriters’ honor) – while the full project is in the running for Best Rock Album.
Green Day recorded “Saviors” in London and Los Angeles with longtime producer Rob Cavallo.
Launched late last year with the lead single, “The American Dream Is Killing Me”, the band’s fourteenth studio album debuted atop the charts in multiple countries.
Green Day spent this year supporting the new project on a global stadium tour that also presented a career-spanning celebration of the 30th anniversary of its 1994 smash, “Dookie”, and the 20th anniversary of 2004’s “American Idiot.”
The 2025 Grammy Awards, officially known as the 67th Grammy Awards, will take place live at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 2, broadcasting live on the CBS Television Network and streaming live and on demand on Paramount+.
