Metallica share Ride The Lightning from second Copenhagen performance

Metallica is sharing video of a performance of “Ride The Lightning” from a June 16 concert at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The title track to the group’s second album was featured alongside “Fade To Black”, “For Whom The Bell Tolls” and “The Call Of Ktulu” from the 1984 set, as part of a 15-song presentation that delivered tunes from eight different studio records.

Metallica is on the road in support of its latest album, “72 Seasons”, which was recorded at the group’s HQ in San Rafael, CA and produced by Greg Fidelman and band members James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich.

The group will open a series of North American shows starting at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA on August 2.

Metallica is also sharing video of a performance of the “72 Seasons” track, “Too Far Gone?”, from the second Copenhagen event.
