Finalists for the 14th annual hennemusic Rock News Awards are chosen by readers: the Rock News Story Of The Year is determined by page views, while the Rock News Artist Of The Year is based on the combined total page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.
The 2023 hennemusic Rock News Awards winners will be announced on Thursday, December 21.

Rock News Story Of The Year No. 9: LYNYRD SKYNYRD
In June, Lynyrd Skynyrd announced plans to bring a historical anniversary concert performance to the big screen.
“The 50th Anniversary of Lynyrd Skynyrd” captured the band live at the famed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN last November and delivered their final show with founding member Gary Rossington before his passing in March at the age of 71.
