“The new music video is directed by Six Stair / Coan Buddy Nichols,” says the band, “and features the badass (Brazilian skateboarder) Felipe Nunes.”
Metallica originally issued a video for the tune back in April in sync with the 2023 album’s release; they also recently shared footage of its M72 tour debut in New Jersey early last month.
Recorded at the group’s HQ in San Rafael, CA in 2021 and 2022, and produced by Greg Fidelman alongside band members James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, “72 Seasons” debuted at No. 1 on the US Album Sales chart.
