The opening track from the singer’s latest studio album, “C’mon You Know”, is among the songs captured from a pair of sold-out June 2022 concerts that saw him perform before more than 170,000 fans over the weekend.
The video documents the build-up and preparation ahead of the shows, its mood is best captured by the long shots of the sold-out, 85,000-strong audience, with phones lit up in the air as far as the eye can see.
"So we recorded the Knebworth gigs we did last year,” says Gallagher. “We all sound Biblical, turn it up ENJOY, LGx."
Due August 11, “Knebworth 22” will be available in multiple formats; in addition to its digital release, physical formats included standard and deluxe CDs, black double-vinyl and sun yellow double-vinyl, while an olive and black marble double-vinyl edition is also available exclusively from Liam's official store.
Gallagher will launch the live album with a rare intimate show at London’s Koko on August 9.
