“Today is one of my favorite days. It's single release day,” shared Nuno Bettencourt online. “This one is called "Other Side Of The Rainbow" and we had a lot of fun shooting this video.”
The song follows “Rise”, “Banshee” and “Rebel” as the fourth preview to the Boston band’s sixth studio record, which will arrive on June 9 via earMUSIC.
"Every once in a while, we'll harness some kind of magic, and I think we did on this one," says frontman Gary Cherone about the tune. "It's a universal theme. It's about restoring someone's faith in love...we feel that it's the perfect marriage of lyrics and melody."
Extreme recorded their first full album in 15 years in Bettencourt’s home studio, with the guitarist also serving as producer.
