According to Billboard, the band’s former No. 1 re-enters the Billboard 200 at No. 8 and No. 3 on the Top Album Sales Chart, while also capturing the No. 1 spot on the Top Rock Albums Chart, Top Hard Rock Albums Chart, and Top Catalog Albums charts.
The feat marks the band's 11th consecutive first-week Top 10 entry on the Billboard 200 as well as their fifth consecutive No. 1 debuts on the Top Rock Albums Chart and Top Hard Rock Albums charts.
“Meteora” scored sales of 38,500 equivalent album units earned this past week; of that sum, album sales comprise 19,500, SEA units comprise 17,000 (equaling 23.65 million on-demand official streams of the set’s tracks) and TEA units comprise 2,000.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the US based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album.
“Meteora” marked Linkin Park’s first of six No. 1’s on the Billboard 200 when it debuted atop the chart dated April 12, 2003, where it remained for two weeks.
The expanded 2023 reissue is now available in multiple formats, including a Limited Edition Super Deluxe Box Set, Deluxe Vinyl Box Set, Deluxe 3-CD, and Digital Download.
