Motley Crue and Def Leppard have added a spring US date to the opening leg of their 2023 World Tour.
The series – which will open next month with a pair of events in Atlantic City, NJ – will now see the bands perform an "intimate show" at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL on Sunday, March 12.
A number of presales begin Tuesday, January 10 at 10 AM local time, with general tickets going on sale Friday, January 13 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
The 2023 shows will see the debut of Motley Crue’s new touring guitarist, John 5, who has stepped into the live lineup following the recent retirement of Mick Mars.
John 5’s career includes extended stints with Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie, among others.
“I’m honored to carry on Mick’s legacy,” shared the guitarist, “and am looking forward to playing these songs.”
While Def Leppard are touring in support of their 2022 album, “Diamond Star Halos”, Motley Crue will release a limited edition box set, “Crucial Crue: The Studio Albums 1981-1989”, on February 17.
