Finalists for the 13th annual hennemusic Rock News Awards are chosen by readers: the Rock News Story Of The Year is determined by page views, while the Rock News Artist Of The Year is based on the combined total page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.
The 2022 hennemusic Rock News Awards winners will be announced on Friday, December 16.

Rock News Story Of The Year No. 9: KISS
In July, KISS streamed live audio of their 1974 “Hotter Than Hell” classic, “Let Me Go, Rock 'N Roll”, as the first preview to "Off The Soundboard: Live In Des Moines 1977."
Due for official release in September, the package captures the group’s original lineup of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss in performance on November 29, 1977 at the Iowa Veterans Memorial Auditorium as part of the band’s Alive II tour.
