Finalists for the 13th annual hennemusic Rock News Awards are chosen by readers: the Rock News Story Of The Year is determined by page views, while the Rock News Artist Of The Year is based on the combined total page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.
The 2022 hennemusic Rock News Awards winners will be announced on Friday, December 16.

Rock News Story Of The Year No. 5: MOTLEY CRUE
In late October, Motley Crue announced a new touring guitarist as Mick Mars confirmed his retirement from the road.
The rocker’s representative shared the news in a statement, which detailed Mars’ “ongoing painful struggle with Ankylosing Spondylitis (A.S.)”, which he describes as “an extremely painful and crippling degenerative disease which affects the spine” as something he has lived with since his late teens.
