Set to open June 16 in Atlanta, GA, the series will see the two bands joined by Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.
In a new interview with Columbus, OH station QFM96, Elliott shares the headliners’ plans for the series, which will run into early September.
"We're taking turns; 36 shows, so it's 18 each,” Elliott explain of the Def Leppard/Motley Crue rotation. “It's all been worked out very scientifically. It's the same way that we did it with Journey in 2018. Exactly the same principle."
The tour will start a few weeks after Def Leppard release their new album, “Diamond Star Halos”, on May 27; the set was recently launched with the lead single, “Kick.”
