“I had a great time working with the very talented Nate Merritt and Josh Richman on this video to bring “Siren Song” to life through animation,” says Cantrell. “Nate’s imagery is beautiful and impactful, a perfect visual companion to the music that tells the story I started out with, and travels far beyond it. A true collaborative effort, great work guys.”
“Siren Song” follows “Atone” and the title track as the third single from the Alice In Chains’ rocker’s third solo effort, which he co-produced with Tyler Bates.
“Brighten” features eight new Cantrell originals and a cover of Elton John’s 1971 “Madman Across The Water” track, “Goodbye.”
The guitarist will launch a North American tour in support of the project in Minneapolis, MN on March 24.
