Def Leppard have launched a new website with an online countdown ahead of making an announcement that is rumored to involve details of new music from the group.
The site – at diamondstarhalos.com – features icons of all five band members that are being unveiled one at a time, with clickable audio of each predicting the future.
At press time, fans can hear “readings” from guitarist Phil Collen and bassist Rick Savage, with Joe Elliott, drummer Rick Allen and guitarist Vivian Canmpbell to follow.
Meanwhile, the countdown clock is scheduled to hit zero on Thursday, March 17.
Def Leppard will team up with Motley Crue for a rescheduled US stadium tour this summer; the recently-expanded series will open in Atlanta, GA on June 16.
Def Leppard’s most recent studio album is a 2105 self-titled set that reached the US Top 10 while peaking at No. 11 on the UK charts.
