The Who will perform an acoustic set at the 2022 edition of the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall on March 25.
Following their success with the 2020 acoustic shows at Pryzm, Kingston-on-Thames, Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will front an acoustic band featuring Simon Townshend, Phil Spalding, Jody Linscott, Billy Nicholls, Geraint Watkins, Charlie Hart and Andy Cutting, performing some Who classics, rarities and all-time favourites.
The Teenage Cancer Trust creates world-class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people don’t have to face cancer alone.
The week-long benefit shows will begin on March 21 with the UK band Don Broco; among the series’ other performers are Madness, Liam Gallagher and Ed Sheeran.
Tickets for the benefit series will go on sale on Friday, February 26 at 9:00am local time; full event details for all shows can be found at teenagecancertrust.org.
Following the series, The Who will launch a North American tour in Hollywood, FL on April 22.
