Metallica have announced a pair of summer US stadium events.
“Greetings from HQ!,” says the band. “As we prep for tomorrow’s show in Las Vegas [at Allegiant Stadium], we figured now would be a great time to fill you in on two more stadiums we plan to invade this summer: Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium and Pittsburgh’s PNC Park. We’ll be hitting the stage in both towns on August 11 (Buffalo) and August 14 (Pittsburgh) with our friends Greta Van Fleet and Ice Nine Kills.
“If you’re a Fifth Member, you’ll have early access beginning Monday, February 28; log in and check out all the details including information about how to request your personal presale code.”
Genral public tickets will be available for both shows starting at 10 AM ET on Friday, March 4; get full details at metallica.com.
“It feels absolutely incredible to be hitting the road again this summer,” adds the group, “and we hope we see you out there!”
In addition to this weekend’s show in Las Vegas, Metallica will play other US dates this year, including appearances at two US festivals – Bottlerock in Napa Valley, CA and Boston Calling – in late May.
The band will also launch a series of rescheduled South American shows in April, and play the European summer festival circuit starting in June.
