Gallagher co-wrote the tune with Grohl – who also plays drums on the track, which was produced by Greg Kurstin.
Gallagher and Grohl first met many years ago when Foo Fighters played with Oasis on tour; they’ve maintained a mutual admiration ever since, while speculation about a possible collaboration between the pair has risen in recent years.
“Everything’s Electric” sees the two rockers meld the dynamics of the Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage” with the spiralling tension and danger of The Rolling Stones’ “Gimme Shelter.”
Due May 27, “C’mon You Know” will mark the follow-up to Gallagher’s 2019 album, “Why Me? Why Not”, which topped the UK charts upon its release.
Gallagher will launch the 2022 album with a pair of shows at the UK’s Knebworth Park on June 3 and 4.
