Finalists for the 12th annual hennemusic Rock News Awards are chosen by readers: the Rock News Story Of The Year is determined by page views, while the Rock News Artist Of The Year is based on the combined total page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.
The 2021 hennemusic Rock News Awards winners will be announced on Friday, December 17.

Rock News Story Of The Year No. 8: MAMMOTH WVH
Wolfgang Van Halen’s Mammoth WVH performed their 2020 single, “Distance”, on the February 11 episode of ABC-TV’s Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The appearance marked the late night television debut for the band with a lineup that features Wolfgang on guitars/vocals, guitarists Jon Jourdan and Frank Sidoris, bassist Ronnie Ficarro and drummer Garrett Whitlock.
“Distance” was written by the rocker as a tribute to his father, Eddie Van Halen, while he battled health issues in his final years before passing away in October of 2020 at the age of 65.
