“I'm absolutely buzzing to announce that on 4th June 2022 I'll be playing Knebworth,” says the rocker. “It's gonna be biblical. C'mon You Know.”
Fans who pre-order the new album, “C’mon You Know”, by 3pm BST on Wednesday, October 6 will have access to pre-sale tickets to the Knebworth date, which will see Gallagher top a bill that features Kasabian, Michael Kiwanuka, Fat White Family and Goat Girl.
Remaining tickets will then go on general sale on Friday, October 8 at 10am BST.
“C’mon You Know” will mark the follow-up to Gallagher’s 2019 album, “Why Me? Why Not”, which topped the UK charts upon its release.
Gallagher’s former band, Oasis, recently premiered a new concert documentary, “Oasis: Knebworth 1996”, in cinemas ahead of the November 19 release of a special live album and DVD/Blu-ray.
Directed by Jake Scott, the film captures the band in concert over a pair of summertime concerts at the UK venue where Oasis performed before 125,000 fans each night while touring in support of their second album, “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory.”
