Guns N’ Roses have postponed their planned 2021 tour of Australia and New Zealand due to the current Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.
Originally set to take place this November, the band are sharing rescheduled dates for the series, which has been moved to November and December of 2022.
"Despite our best efforts and working with the relevant authorities in New Zealand and Australia, it recently became clear that we could not proceed in 2021 due to COVIDS's resurgence," says promoter Paul Dainty. “Re-scheduling what is likely to be the biggest stadium rock tour of next year does take some time and I'm delighted that the stars have now aligned. Guns N' Roses are one of the greatest bands of all time and we're going to make a little bit of history and be back bigger and better in Summer 2022."
Nightrain presale tickets are available Friday, October 1 Oct at 10am NZDT, with general public tickets going ons ale Thursday, October 7 at 10am NZDT.
The group are currently playing dates on a US Tour that will wrap up this weekend with two shows in Hollywood, FL.
