Deep Purple have rescheduled dates for their “Whoosh!” UK tour for a second time.
Originally set to take place last fall, the series was moved to October 2021 before being delayed again during the pandemic.
The five-show run – with guests Blue Oyster Cult – will now launch in October of 2022.
"The health and safety of all our fans, crew and fellow band mates is our priority,” says the band, “and so we are very sad and disappointed that due to the ongoing difficulties of the COVID virus our UK tour has been postponed and rescheduled to October 2022.
“All tickets including the VIP experience remain valid and we can't wait to see you all where we can celebrate and finally bring the house down safely. Thank you for all your loyalty and support."
Deep Purple recorded their 21st studio record, “Woosh!”, with Bob Ezrin in Nashville, TN.
