KISS to launch official live bootleg series with 2001 Tokyo concert

KISS will launch their official live bootleg series, “Off The Soundboard”, with a 2001 concert from Tokyo, Japan.

Due June 11, the project captures the band in performance before 55,000 fans at the city’s Tokyo Dome on March 13, 2001 with a lineup that sees founders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons joined by guitarist Ace Frehley and drummer Eric Singer.

Fans will be able to hear – direct from the soundboard – a 21-song set mixing rarities with such classic anthems as “Detroit Rock City”, “I Was Made For Lovin’ You,” “Heaven’s On Fire” and “Rock And Roll All Nite.”

“KISS: Off The Soundboard - Tokyo 2001” will be available in multiple formats, including 2CD, 3LP, digital and streaming, as well as an exclusive 3LP set pressed on crystal clear vinyl with bone swirl via the Official KISS online store.

KISS are currently scheduled to resume their End Of The Road farewell tour in Europe in June before regrouping with special guest David Lee Roth for rescheduled US dates that are set to begin in August.
