The Who have cancelled rescheduled dates for their UK and Ireland tour, which was set to begin next month in Dublin.
Originally set to take place last spring, the shows were delayed due tro the pandemic and moved to March of 2021 before being shut down entirely.
“We are very sorry that we have to cancel our planned March 2021 UK and Ireland shows,” says Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend. “Please excuse the delay but we wanted to wait as long as possible to see if we could indeed play them. However, as you can see, the current situation makes this impossible. Thanks for all your wonderful support and we hope to see you in the future when conditions allow.”
Customers can contact their point of purchase regarding refunds.
The Who also want to advise fans that Teenage Cancer Trust have cancelled all their concerts at the Royal Albert Hall for this year, including the band’s show on March 20; if you have tickets for any TCT shows, your ticket provider will be in touch with refund information soon.
