Judas Priest are streaming video of their full 2015 performance at the Germany’s Wacken Open Air festival.
Featured on the 2016 release, “Battle Cry”, the footage captures the veteran metal outfit playing live before 85,000 fans at the annual event while on tour in support of their 2014 album, “Redeemer Of Souls.”
The band’s setlist mixes newer tunes like “Dragonaut” and “Halls Of Valhalla” alongside headbanging classics (“Metal Gods”, “Electric Eye” and “You’ve Got Another Thing Coming”) and key album tracks from yesteryear (“Devil’s Child”, “Beyond The Realms Of Death” and “Jawbreaker”).
Judas Priest’s Wacken appearance is being presented as part of a live streaming series hosted by Knotfest.com, the home of Slipknot’s festival.
Judas Priest recently postponed their 50th anniversary US tour this fall due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Originally set to start on the US East Coast in early September, most of the 50 Heavy Metal Years trek has been rescheduled to late 2021.
