The Rolling Stones will launch a new weekly streaming concert series this weekend.
The “Extra Licks” program will deliver bonus features of six concert films from throughout the band’s career.
Each featurette – available digitally for the first time – will appear as a YouTube Premiere as part of the company’s #StayHome campaign.
The series will premiere Sunday, May 3 at 3 PM ET with footage from the concert film, “Olé Olé Olé!: A Trip Across Latin America”, which captured the Stones’ Latin America tour in 2016.
Last week, The Rolling Stones released a new single, “Living In A Ghost Town", that was created and recorded in Los Angeles, London and in isolation; the track was released in tandem with a brand new music video that has almost 4 million YouTube views to date.
The iconic group recently postponed their No Filter North American tour amid the coronavirus pandemic; the 15-date series was scheduled to open May 8 in San Diego, CA.
