Foo Fighters postpone April Van Tour dates
The Foo Fighters have postponed the April dates on their upcoming 25th anniversary Van Tour of North America due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The band have announced rescheduled shows for Phoenix, Albuquerque and Oklahoma City, with new dates to be confirmed for stops in Wichita and Knoxville, while five shows planned for May currently remain on the schedule.
"Hi, this is Dave. Remember me? The guy who wouldn't even postpone a show when my goddamn leg was falling off?," shared the Foo Fighters frontman. "Well… playing a gig with a sock full of broken bones is one thing, but playing a show when YOUR health and safety is in jeopardy is another…
"We f**kin' love you guys. So let's do this right and rain check s**t. The album is done, and it's f**kin' killer. The lights and stage are in the trucks, ready to go. The SECOND we are given the go ahead, we'll come tear s**t up like we always do. Promise.
"Now go wash your hands."
The planned six-week, 10-show series was set to see the Foo Fighters revisiting stops along their 1995 trek … in the round.
