Ozzy Osbourne joined rappers Post Malone and Travis Scott, and guitarist Andrew Watt, for their collaboration, “Take What You Want”, during the 2019 American Music Awards in Los Angeles on November 24.
The appearance came three days after Osbourne performed the track with Malone at The Forum, which also marked the rocker’s live return in almost a year as he continues to recover from a series of health issues.
The single from Malone’s recently-released album, “Hollywood’s Bleeding”, debuted at No. 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100 to deliver Osbourne his first US Top 10 appearance in more than three decades.
Singing on “Take What You Want” via producer Watt led to Osbourne working with the guitarist on a new album, “Ordinary Man”, which features guest appearances by Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith; the project is due in January.
Ozzy is previewing the record with the lead single, “Under The Graveyard”, and its follow-up, “Straight To Hell”, which features Slash on guitar.
