Foo Fighters revisit In Your Honor sessions on latest archival release

The Foo Fighters revisit a series of tracks from sessions for their 2005 album, “In Your Honor”, on the latest EP release from the band’s ongoing archival series.

The six-song “02050525” project delivers four tunes that originally appeared as b-sides to the “Best Of You” single – including “FFL”, “Spill” and covers of The Jawbreakers’ 1992 track, “Kiss The Bottle”, and The Passions' 1981 hit, “I’m In Love With A German Film Star” – as well as a demo of “DOA” and its original b-side, a studio version of “Skin And Bones.”

Some of the material was also issued as part of the group’s 2005 EP, “Five Songs And A Cover”, which was available as a Best Buy exclusive.

Dave Grohl recently revealed that the Foo Fighters are working on new music during their September 28 headlining set at Rock In Rio in Brazil.

"I don't know when we'll be back down here again, but we will,” the rocker told the crowd. “We go home next week and we start making a new Foo Fighters record. It's good, it's good."
