Bruce Springsteen is among the guests scheduled to appear on the Monday, October 21 broadcast of ABC-TV’s Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The program is the first episode in a week of shows from the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House as the late night series spends some time away from Los Angeles in the host’s native city.
Springsteen will be on hand to promote the new concert film, “Western Stars”, the companion project to his 2019 album of the same name.
The film is debuting in cinemas during an exclusive two-night theatrical release, with upcoming showings on October 23 following its opening four days earlier; for information regarding participating theaters and tickets, visit fathomevents.com.
Springsteen’s first studio album in five years, “Western Stars” debuted at No. 2 on the US Billboard 200 upon its release in June.
The rocker will also release “Western Stars – Songs From The Film”, on October 25; the soundtrack includes live performances of every song from the new album, as well as a cover of Glen Campbell’s “Rhinestone Cowboy.”
