Guns N’ Roses among headliners for inaugural Exit 111 Festival
Guns N’ Roses are among the headliners announced for the inaugural Exit 111 Festival at the Great Stage Park in Manchester, TN this fall.
The reunited band will close out the three-day event, which will also see headline sets by Def Leppard and Lynyrd Skynyrd, and performances by ZZ Top, Cheap Trick, Ghost, Alter Bridge, Megadeth, Mastodon, and more than 40 acts, including the last Tennessee show of their career by Slayer.
Running October 11-13, the Exit 111 Festival will be hosted by US rock radio personality Eddie Trunk and take place on the same 700-plus acre site as past Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festivals.
Attendees will see action on three stages with 12 hours of music daily, camping and a variety of activities, including Paranormal Cirque (an R-rated fusion between circus, theatre, and cabaret), the first annual Exit 111 car show, motocross demonstrations and a mega sports bar airing full sports coverage throughout the weekend, with more activities announced soon.
Exit 111 promoters have teamed with Seether frontman Shaun Morgan's Rise Above charity. Beyond having one of the festival stages named as the Rise Above Stage, Exit 111 will donate $1.00 from every ticket sold to Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE); these efforts will assist in raising funds for the charity's life-saving suicide awareness efforts which started at Rise Above Festival.
Exit 111 weekend passes and single day tickets go on sale Thursday, April 25 at 12 PM, ET.
A special pre-sale is available now through Wednesday, April 24 at 11:59 PM, ET via the festival's website here.
The Guns N’ Roses appearance marks the band’s second announced show of 2019, following a September 28 headlining slot at the Louder Than Life Festival at Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center in Louisville, KY.
Slash recently confirmed the group will play “a small tour in October”, as fans await further news about more fall concert dates.
