As part of the 2018 hennemusic Rock News Awards, the daily news site is counting down the Top 10 Rock News stories of the past year.
Finalists for the 9th annual hennemusic Rock News Awards are chosen by readers: the Rock News Story Of The Year is determined by page views, while the Rock News Artist Of The Year is based on the combined total page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.
The 2018 hennemusic Rock News Awards winners will be announced on Thursday, December 27.

Rock News Story Of The Year No. 3: ROB ZOMBIE
Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson released a cover of The Beatles' 1968 classic, “Helter Skelter”, in sync with the launch of their summer tour of North America in July.
“We had been talking about doing something together for these shows, that he should come onstage during my set and we’d do a song,” Zombie tells Rolling Stone. “But we couldn’t think of what song. After we talked, later that night I was home and I just thought, The obvious song is ‘Helter Skelter’… It’s so obvious that neither one of us thought of it!”
