Metallica will open a series of Pop-Up Stores during their North American tour in support of “Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.”
Fans will be able to purchase various merchandise at each location, which will surface two days before the band perform in select cities.
While the tour will begin at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD on May 10, the grand opening of the first Metallica Pop-Up store will take place in New York City from May 12-14, with the following schedule:

May 14 10 AM - 4 PM
The group have also revealed a list of cities for future store locations on the tour, as follows:
St. Louis, MO: June 2 - 4
Houston, TX: June 9 - 11
Chicago, IL: June 16 - 18
Atlanta, GA: July 7 - 9
Toronto, ON: July 14 - 16
Los Angeles, CA: July 27 - 29
San Diego, CA: August 4 - 6
San Francisco, CA: August 11 - 13
Metallica will preview the WorldWired tour by streaming their final rehearsal from Baltimore via Facebook Live on May 9 at 9:00 PM EDT.
The band have also issued a new live video of the single, “Hardwired”, filmed in locations around the world.
