Royal Blood have announced dates for a North American tour in support of their forthcoming album, “How Did We Get So Dark?”
The duo of bassist/singer Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher will play a series of US east coast shows starting in Boston, MA on June 2 for the first leg, before returning in late summer for a second run of concerts primarily on the west coast of the continent.
“Here we go North America,” says the band about the trek, “we can’t wait for this.”
Tickets will go on sale on April 28 at 9am via the usual outlets.
Due June 16, “How Did We Get So Dark?” was produced by producer Joylon Thomas and recorded in Brussels, Belgium.
Royal Blood are previewing the project with a video for the lead single, “Lights Out.”
The group will officially launch the album with a series of newly-announced UK shows in May before arriving Stateside in June.
