The Red Hot Chili Peppers have postponed three dates on their current North American tour as singer Anthony Kiedis attempts to recover from a case of bronchitis.
“We are so sorry that we cannot come to Denver, Glendale and San Diego as planned,” says the band. “Anthony has been fighting off the bronchitis all week and still needs a few more days to recover. We are sorry for any inconvenience to our fans and look forward to seeing you.”
The Peppers have announced rescheduled dates for the three shows on the trek in support of their latest album, “The Getaway.”
The new date for the San Diego, CA show is March 21, while Denver will see the group on October 16 and the Glendale, AZ stop will take place on October 18.
All previously purchased tickets will be honored on the new dates.
The Peppers are next scheduled to play three hometown concerts at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on March 7, 8 and 10.
