Roger Waters is streaming a video preview featuring a taste of music of his forthcoming album, “Is This The Life We Really Want?”
It’s the second advance look at the bassist’s first original record in 25 years, following some studio footage issued last month.
Waters has been working in London and Los Angeles with Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich on the project, which marks the follow-up to 1992’s “Amused To Death.”
While no official release date has yet been announced, the former Pink Floyd member says the album is “coming soon.”
Waters will debut material from the record on a North American tour that begins in Kansas City, MO on May 26.
"We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very secret," he says. "It'll be a mixture of stuff from my long career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably 75% of it will be old material and 25% will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you. It'll be spectacular like all my shows have been.”
