The Red Hot Chili Peppers have released an animated video for “Sick Love”, a track from their latest album “The Getaway.”
Directed and illustrated by Beth Jeans Houghton, it’s the third single issued from the project following “Dark Necessities” and “Go Robot.”
Produced by Danger Mouse, the record marks the Los Angeles group’s first album in five years.
The project debuted at No. 2 on the US Billboard 200 in June with opening week sales of 118,000 equivalent album units (108,000 in traditional album sales).
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently playing shows in the UK on a run that will see the group wrap up its 2016 live schedule in Dublin, Ireland on December 21.
The band will launch a 6-month North American tour in San Antonio, TX on January 5.
