Deep Purple are sharing a preview of their upcoming album, “Infinite.”
The veteran band have issued a pair of video trailers for the project in the past week – with each including a sample of new music from the record, due early next year.
Recorded in Nashville, TN with legendary producer Bob Ezrin, the follow-up to 2013’s "Now What?!" will be the group’s 20th studio release.
Deep Purple will promote the album on The Long Goodbye tour, whose title is helping fuel rumors that the band may be winding down their career after almost 50 years.
Drummer Ian Paice made headlines in June when he suffered a minor stroke that forced the band to cancel a pair of shows in Sweden and Denmark; Paice and the group returned to live action just two weeks later.
The group have announced the first series of dates for a tour in support of “Infinite”, which will see them perform five shows across the UK in November 2017 with special guests Europe.
Tickets for the 2017 concerts will go on sale on December 9 at 9am GMT.
