Black Sabbath performed the final US show of their farewell tour at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX on November 12 and video from the event has surfaced online.
The reunited trio of Ozzy Osbourne. Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler delivered a 13-song set of classic 70s material – from show opener “Black Sabbath” to the finale of “Paranoid.”
Billed as “The End”, the group first announced farewell tour plans in late 2015 with shows starting in Omaha, NE on January 20.
The trek has hit Australia, New Zealand and Europe this year alongside two North American legs, with the final series opening at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York on August 17.
Black Sabbath will next play dates in Latin America starting November 16 in Mexico City before beginning a final 8-show UK/Ireland run early next year that will see them end their career with a pair of shows in their hometown of Birmingham, UK.
The band just released a Super Deluxe Edition of their 1970 album classic, “Paranoid.”
The 4-disc set includes the original 1970 LP, a rare quad mix of the record folded down to stereo, and two live shows from 1970 - one from Montreux and one from Brussels.
