Metallica opened the World Wired tour in support of their tenth album, “Hardwired…To Self Destruct”, in San Juan, Puerto Rico on October 26 and video from the show has surfaced.
The event at Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot saw the band deliver an 18-song set that featured the two lead tracks from the album – “Hardwired” and “Moth Into Flame” – ahead of the project’s release on November 18.
Almost half of the show presented material from 1986’s “Master Of Puppets” and the self-titled “Black” album alongside tracks from throughout their career.
The two-week Latin American run wraps up in San Jose, Costa Rica on November 5 before resuming in 2017 with a show at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea on January 11 and the group’s first-ever concert in Hong Kong on January 20.
Metallica will next perform at Parque Bicentenario in Quito, Ecuador on October 29.
