Green Day have issued a lyric video for “Say Goodbye”, a track from their newly-released album, “Revolution Radio.”
Recorded at frontman Billie Joe Armstrong’s new studio in Oakland, CA, the project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with opening week sales of 95,000 equivalent album units, of which 90,000 were in traditional album sales.
“Revolution Radio” marks the San Francisco Bay Area band’s third US number one following 2004’s “American Idiot” and 2009’s “21st Century Breakdown.”
Green Day are currently playing the final week of shows on the Revolution Radio North American club run, and will kick off 2017 with a European tour before returning to North America for arena dates with guests Against Me! beginning March 1 in Phoenix, AZ.
The group have already announced a series of spring dates in Australia and New Zealand in the new year, as well.
