The Rolling Stones have issued a preview of the 2016 tour documentary, “Olé Olé Olé!: A Trip Across Latin America”, ahead of its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 16.
Directed by Paul Dugdale, the film follows the band’s recent América Latina Olé tour, which culminated with a historic free gig in Havana, Cuba before 1.2 million fans.
The 14-date run opened in Santiago, Chile on February 3 and featured shows in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Peru, Colombia and Mexico.
The concerts marked the Stones’ first in the region since 2006’s A Bigger Bang Tour.
Throughout the film viewers will hear personal stories and insights from the band on their chemistry, what it is like to tour and perform for tens of thousands of adoring fans, and memories and influences of these cities over the past 50 years.
Following the Toronto premiere of “Olé Olé Olé!: A Trip Across Latin America”, The Rolling Stones will debut their Cuban concert film, “Havana Moon”, in theaters worldwide on September 23.
