Guns N’ Roses performed the “Chinese Democracy” rarity, “Catcher In The Rye”, as part of their August 5 show at NRG Stadium in Houston, TX.
The concert marked only the second appearance of the song by the reunited trio of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan following its tour debut at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA on July 20.
The tune was one of four tracks from the 2008 album in the expanded 25-song set that also delievered the title track, “This I Love” and “Better.”
Houston was the 19th date on the group’s summer trek across North America, which now heads west for the final six shows on the schedule starting August 9 at AT&T Park in San Francisco, CA.
The band will also hit Seattle, WA, Glendale, AZ and play two concerts in Los Angeles before wrapping things up at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, CA on August 22.
Guns N’ Roses will regroup for a 10-show South American tour that will begin in Lima, Peru on October 27.
