Green Day have unveiled the artwork for the forthcoming new single, “Bang Bang.”
Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong first shared the cover via Instagram and the group followed via their social media outlets.
While "Bang Bang" will be issued this Thursday, August 11, no details regarding the album – title, tracklist and release date – have been revealed to date.
Fans are speculating about the album’s title, though, due to a series of hashtags Armstrong included in his Instagram post. Various media outlets are speculating a #revrad tag could translate into “Revolution Radio.”
The forthcoming record marks the follow-up to the 2012 trilogy, “Uno”, “Dos” and “Tre.”
Green Day were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2015.
