Alter Bridge are premiering a video for “Show Me A Leader”, the lead single from their forthcoming album, “The Last Hero.”
The band worked with director Zev Deans to create a concept for the animated clip, which illustrates the story told by the song.
"Lyrically," says singer Myles Kennedy of the tune, "it reflects the frustrations that a lot of people are feeling with the current state of things."
“I threw out that ‘show me a leader’ line and Myles ran with it lyrically,” adds guitarist Mark Tremonti. “I think it’s really good for this time and this climate in the world right now, with all the chaos, and all the circus that is politics.”
Due October 7, “The Last Hero” was recorded earlier this year with longtime producer Michael 'Elvis' Baskette.
Alter Bridge will launch a series of US headline dates in support of the project in Destin, FL on September 22.
