Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale is featured in a video preview of the upcoming Vintage TV special “Here I Go Again.”
Coverdale invited famed rock journalist Nicky Horne to his home and studio in Reno, Nevada for an exclusive interview; the pair also made a road trip to Lake Tahoe while they discussed the rock legend’s history and future plans.
"I’ve known David for many years now, and was delighted to go and visit him in his home over in the States,” says Horne. “From the Purple years to why Whitesnake won’t be retiring anytime soon, no subject was off limits."
“Here I Go Again: David Coverdale” will air on Vintage TV on July 26 at 10:30 PM.
Whitesnake are on the road in Europe playing dates on their 2016 Greatest Hits Tour.
Last year, the band released “The Purple Album”, a project that saw Coverdale re-record classic songs from the Deep Purple Mark 3 and Mark 4 records he appeared on, including 1974’s “Burn” and “Stormbringer” and 1975’s “Come Taste The Band.”
In April, Coverdale was inducted into the 2016 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in April as a member of Deep Purple alongside players from the group’s first three lineups.
