Sixx:A.M. are previewing the video for the title track to their current album, “Prayers For The Damned, Vol. 1.”
The tune has just been issued as the latest single from the project, which marks the first volume of a double album set that will keep vocalist James Michael, bassist Nikki Sixx and guitarist DJ Ashba on the road throughout the year and into 2017.
“Prayers For The Damned, Vol. 1.” scored a Top 20 debut on the US charts earlier this spring with their fourth album, which entered the US Billboard 200 at No. 19.
"It is thrilling for us to see how Sixx:A.M.'s message of hope, unity and empowerment is resonating on a global scale,” says album producer Michael. “Vol. 1 Prayers For The Damned is clearly impacting people in ways that we couldn't have imagined. It's gratifying to have something that is so important to us become so important others."
“Vo1 1” will be followed by a second record later this year as the trio plan an extended two-year touring cycle in support of both projects.
Sixx:AM just concluded the first leg of their 2016/17 world tour, which will resume with an extensive Canadian run this September followed by a stop in Japan, and ending the year with a massive U.S. tour starting in October before the band is scheduled to release ‘Volume 2’ of this year’s two-album endeavor.
