Alter Bridge have announced dates for a fall tour of Europe.
The 24-date run across 15 countries is set to begin November 4 in Bilbao, Spain and will be in support of the band’s upcoming fifth album, due in October.
Produced by Michael 'Elvis' Baskette, the project was recorded earlier this year and fans can expect a variety of material, according to guitarist Mark Tremonti.
"It could go in any direction,” Tremonti explained last fall. “I've got a ton of ideas in all different styles. Last time it was just one heavy idea after another and hopefully this time we can branch out and bring something new to the table."
Alter Bridge will be joined on the fall European tour by a variety of guests including Volbeat, Gojira and Like A Storm.
Tickets will go on general sale at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8 and can be purchased online via www.alterbridge.com
Alter Bridge will preview tunes from the fifth album during a North American summer trek, which kicks off in Orlando, FL on July 6.
The band’s last record, 2013’s “Fortress”, debuted at No. 12 on the US Billboard 200 chart following first week sales of 30,000.
