Rob Zombie has release a video for “The Life And Times Of A Teenage Rock God”, the new single from his latest album, “The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser.”
"I figured that a mixture of 'Three Amigos' with a 'Dia De Los Muertos' twist,” Zombie tells NPR, “by way of the opening credit sequence of 'Natural Born Killers' hosted by a Satanic Paul Lynde would make the perfect video for 'The Life And Times Of A Teenage Rock God'."
“Electric Warlock” was produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris and presents Zombie alongside his touring band featuring guitarist John 5, bassist Piggy D and drummer Ginger Fish.
The rocker’s sixth solo effort recently debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 with opening week sales of 41,000 units, of which 40,000 were in pure album sales.
The feat keeps Zombie’s streak of six straight appearances in the Top 10 alive.
“And once again a top 10 album,” says Rob. “I must thank you all for making every Zombie record enter the charts in the top ten. Once again Zombie Fans Rule!”
Zombie launched the project on a co-headlining spring US tour with Disturbed and will return to live action for a summer trek across North America with Korn that opens in Greenwood Village, CO on July 19.
